Delete your account & data

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Hangllo and go to your Profile tab.
2. Tap the Settings icon.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email hangllosupport@gmail.com from any address, including the phone number you signed up with. We'll verify it's you and process the deletion.

What happens when you delete

• Your account is deactivated immediately — your profile disappears and the app stops working for that account.
• There is a 30-day recovery window: sign in again within 30 days to restore your account.
• After 30 days, your account and data — profile, photos, messages, groups, verification face template — are permanently erased.

Data deleted on its own schedule (even without account deletion)

• 1:1 chat messages: 30 days after a chat ends;
• event group chats: ~24 hours after the event starts;
• notifications: after 30 days;
• verification selfies: immediately after the verification check.
